Key Player In Billion-Dollar Deal Triumph: Jayashree Pattabhiraman, Cognizant

Cognizant, an information technology services and consulting company had a period of fast growth during the 2000s and became a Fortune 500 company in 2011.

Jayashree Pattabhiraman, Director at Cognizant Technology Solutions, is a qualified Chartered Accountant and Company Secretary who has worked with multiple organisations in the last 15 years.

Pattabhiraman has been providing assurance, advisory and compliance services (certifications) as part of the world’s largest professional services firm for various service and manufacturing companies, listed as well as unlisted, in India and across the globe.

She has been a financial planner and analyst and led all research and development units of the Indian subsidiary, of US-listed Multinational Fortune 500 pharmaceutical company Pfizer Inc.

She also collaborated in the finance modelling of a billion-dollar deal won by CTS in 2023 which required simulation of multiple finance models with dynamic requirements from a demanding customer without compromising on the profitability margins for Cognizant. 

Pattabhiraman contributed by providing complex technical accounting expertise crafting alternate solutions with quick turnaround time and proposing creative accounting for revenue. This enabled the account team to win the deal with the originally committed margins.
