In the quarter ending March 2024, Karnataka Bank witnessed a 22.37 per cent decline in net profit to Rs 274.43 crore compared to Rs 353.53 crore in the same period last year. However, there was an 11.74 per cent increase in total operating income, reaching Rs 2200.56 crore compared to Rs 1969.31 crore in the previous year.
For the full fiscal year ending March 2024, the bank reported a 10.76 per cent rise in net profit to Rs 1306.61 crore, up from Rs 1179.68 crore in the previous fiscal year. Similarly, total operating income showed a significant increase of 14.93 per cent to Rs 8298.50 crore compared to Rs 7220.23 crore in the previous fiscal year.
