Direct to consumer, clean beauty brand Justhuman, today announced its simultaneous launch in India and the USA with a range of hair and personal care products. The company, born out of a personal strive, is the brainchild of Roshini Sanah Jaiswal, who also serves as the promoter and Chief Restructuring Officer of Jagatjit Industries. Established in 2021, the name Justhuman strongly signals the company’s vision and evokes a powerful message. It serves as a reminder that we are all just human and deserve to feel our best, both inside and out and to have access to products that can help us live our lives to the fullest.

What inspired you to create the brand Justhuman, and what is the company's mission
Justhuman was born from my personal struggle with Planopilaris, an autoimmune disorder that hampered my skin, hair, and overall self-esteem. I spent months searching for beauty products that could restore my body and mind, trying everything from ayurvedic remedies, allopathic medicine to expensive brands, but nothing worked. Frustrated with the lack of options that offered both clean, effective ingredients and fast results, I decided to create a solution that wouldn't force people to compromise.
It’s a different approach to beauty. Our products are not just about enhancing your appearance, but also about making you feel good. The feeling good is a very important component and hence we leaned on an old science which has for decades been used in topicals such as muscle relaxants in the pharmaceutical industry. So our products are designed using Neurocosmetics to stimulate specific areas of the brain that release feel-good chemicals, leaving you feeling empowered and confident. Eventually beauty is about confidence so we’re not just selling beauty products; we're leading a movement that empowers women to embrace their natural beauty and feel comfortable in their own skin.

What is your long-term vision for Justhuman and how do you plan to achieve it?
The company's vision is to empower individuals to live a limitless life - one that is characterized by good health, a sense of self-worth, and freedom from discrimination. The intention is to build a strong Justhuman community with a goal to help people live an inspired life, where they have the confidence and tools to overcome any obstacle and achieve their full potential. We plan to achieve this by offering products that are clean, fast, and uncompromisingly effective to people across the globe but starting with India and the USA.
Can you tell us more about the products that Justhuman offers and the idea behind bringing them?
Justhuman’s products combine advanced scientific research with the power of neuropeptides and biotics (pre-, pro- and post-) that tap into the skin-brain connection and cater to the needs of modern consumers seeking clean ingredients and effective results in their personal and skin care products. The inaugural products of Justhuman include a Probiotic Anti-Dandruff Shampoo and Conditioner, Revitalizing Body Wash, and a Coffee Caramel Body Scrub. Later this month we will be launching an Anti-Hairfall shampoo and a Hair Growth serum. In late June our Skincare line will launch. The idea behind any Justhuman product is sensoria’s experience to feel good and simultaneously address a pain point. This is more prominently visible once the skincare launches. Justhuman's products are available on their website and leading e-commerce platforms such as Amazon.
What have been some of the biggest challenges that you may have faced while incepting the brand, and how have you overcome them?
The biggest challenge we faced was to create bespoke formulations as all products are powered by Neurocosmetics. We cannot go out and pick existing formulations as many other brands do; our products are a result of stringent guidelines and multiple rounds of testing. The efforts to make the products clean and effective while giving results quickly, is a rare combination which we successfully achieved. With these benefits, bringing the product within reach of the customers, whether its in terms of price or availability was another challenge that we overcame successfully.
The Neurocosmetics market in India. Could you tell us more about it?
Neurocosmetics market for cosmetics is in its nascent stage but a fast development trend across the world.
