JK Lakshmi Cement reported a net profit of 41 per cent to Rs 83 crore in the second quarter. The Standalone Net Sales increased by 12 per cent and the standalone sales volume increased by 10 per cent.
The Company achieved a clinker capacity utilisation of 100 per cent and also achieved a cement capacity utilisation of 73 per cent in Q2 FY24.
Commenting on the results of the Company, Vinita Singhania, Vice Chairman and Managing Director of the Company said that the profitability of the company improved on account of higher volume, better product & sales mix and reduction in fuel cost”.
