J&K Bank's mPay Achieves Rs 1000 Cr Daily Transaction Milestone Before Eid

Jammu and Kashmir Bank’s digital team has garnered widespread acclaim from individuals across various sectors ahead of the Eid-ul-Fitr celebrations. Demonstrating its commitment, J&K Bank has set remarkable records, achieving unprecedented transaction volumes during this festive season.

The bank’s mPay channel achieved a remarkable feat by surpassing the Rs 1000 crore milestone in a single day for the first time ever. With an impressive 493,598 transactions amounting to Rs 3230.77 crore, the bank’s digital platform has experienced unparalleled activity. Branch transactions also made a significant contribution, reaching Rs 9586 crore over the past four days, despite two of those days being public holidays.

As Eid-ul-Fitr drew near, J&K Bank’s digital channels seamlessly facilitated historic transactions, resulting in a staggering total of Rs 11,000 crore. This monumental accomplishment underscores the bank’s dedication to delivering efficient and dependable digital banking services to its clientele.

A spokesperson for J&K Bank expressed elation at the resounding success of their digital initiatives, particularly highlighting the milestone achieved by MPay Delight+, which contributed to the total transactions worth Rs 11,082 crore over the last five days.

The exceptional performance of J&K Bank’s digital channels not only reflects the increasing reliance on digital banking solutions but also underscores the bank’s commitment to meeting the evolving needs of its customers. Managing significant transaction volumes with uninterrupted service, J&K Bank processed approximately five crore transactions totaling more than Rs. 11,000 crore across its channels in the last five days.

The bank's mobile banking application, MPay Delight Plus, witnessed a substantial surge in traffic, with transactions amounting to around Rs 7,500 crore executed smoothly. Notably, MPay Delight Plus exceeded the Rs. 1,000-crore transaction mark in a single day twice in a row, affirming the continuous enhancement and evolution of J&K Bank's digital ecosystem.
