Instagram has launched its creator marketplace that will allow brands to find creators they want to connect with. The marketplace was being tested by a small group of brands since last year.
In a broader launch, Instagram is now introducing creator marketplace to more brands on an invite-only basis. The tools for discovering and reaching to creators was being tested by a small group of brands since last year.
Brands can use the marketplace to find creators by gender, age, number of followers and interests. Using the desktop experience within Meta Business Suite, the brands can also filter based on demographics of their engaged audience, using filters including gender, age, interests, country and city. This will allow them to screen creators who have expressed interest in working with the brands.
Further, brands can also leverage the marketplace to create campaigns and structured projects to share with creators—outlining their campaign overview, the desired deliverables, compensation and any additional information related to the creator project.
“Any messages brands send creators will land in a newly created Partnerships Messages inbox. Creators can respond to brands and coordinate with them directly within the Instagram app” Instagram shared on its blog.
The announcement has been made just a few weeks after Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg said that the company was testing a space to enable the discovery of creators.
