Coined in 2004, the company is the frontrunner for manufacturing premium monogrammed bath and hand towels. Taking cues from his father Amrish Patel, who is a politician, Chintan has not only expanded his businesses but has also worked towards the betterment of society.
Chintan Patel forayed into the business space at 26. He has always kept education at the forefront before entering the professional grounds.
After completing his graduation from Mumbai's Mithibai College, Chintan Patel entered the entrepreneurial world. Fortunately, he had easy access as he comes from a business family. At Deesan Group, Chintan Patel overlooks different works like contract farming, gining, spinning and manufacturing bedsheets, towels & garments among other operational activities.
Besides Deesan Group, Patel has been working towards uplifting education all over India. He is the Vice President of Shri Kelvani Mandal where he runs educational institutions like Mithibai College and Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies in Mumbai. Moreover, Chintan Patel owns Param Tex Fab Pvt. Ltd, a parent company under Deesan Group founded in 2005 which manufactures bed sheet fabric.
The businessman soon aims to set up a new plant and take things a notch higher in the textile industry. Other than this, he has ventured into different fields and has his companies selling edible oil and soya products.
Patel also has a stake in a construction company. He works as a director of Deesan Agro Tech Pvt. Ltd. It is one of the oldest companies under the group, and was incorporated in 1991.
As of today, the agro-tech business has grown exponentially. The soy food processing under his leadership has attained a crushing capacity of 1400 TPD, and the crushing capacity of edible oil is 375 TPD.
When asked how he manages multiple business ventures, the businessman said, "It is all about discipline and time management. Setting targets and focusing on long-term goals has helped me manage several business ventures with finesse."
