D2C Insider recently concluded the D2C Insider Omni Channel Summit 2023 on 9 September 2023, in Mumbai. The event witnessed the participation of more than 250 D2C business founders, including notable figures like Anupam Mittal of Shaadi.com, Manish Taneja of Purplle.com, Aarti Gill of Oziva, Aditya Sharma of The Souled Store, and many others. The summit featured seven workshops aimed at imparting valuable operational knowledge and sharing experiences related to scaling and sustaining businesses in India's highly competitive D2C ecosystem.
With an existing base of over 190 million online shoppers and a consistent influx of millions of new customers annually, India's D2C market offers significant advantages. D2C brands have witnessed an impressive year-on-year growth rate of 91 per cent from FY 21 to FY 22, and these companies received a total funding of over 1.5 billion dollars last year. This highlights the immense potential for companies that adopt an omnichannel D2C approach.

The 2023 Summit also featured a 3-hour Pitchathon during which more than 20 D2C investors assessed pitches from various startups. In summary, the event proved to be a resounding success, marking the largest gathering of its kind in India's D2C landscape to date.
