HTC Launches Their Flagship Smartphone U11+ In India

HTC has launched their latest flagship smartphone HTC U11+ in India. The Taiwanese company unveiled its first edge-to-edge display smartphone HTC U11+ in November last year.

Priced at Rs 56,990, HTC U11+ will go on sale in India from 7 February exclusively through Flipkart. The handset is available in amazing silver colour only but the company will launch it in ceramic black colour soon. 

HTC U11+ runs on Android 8.0 Oreo with HTC’s Sense UI on top. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 octa-core processor. The handset comes in two RAM+Storage variants of 4GB+64GB and 6GB+128GB. The storahe on both variants is expandable up to 2TB through a hybrid dual-SIM configuration where second SIM slot doubles as a MicroSD card holder.

The major highlight of HTC U11+ is the display, it features a 6-inch Quad HD+ (2880x1440) Super LCD 18:9 display with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 for protection. It sports a 12-megapixel rear camera with 1.4 micrometer pixel, OIS, BSI sensor, f/1.7, ultraspeed Auto Focus and dual-LED flash. On the front is an 8-megapixel selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture, BSI sensor, auto selfie and voice selfie options.

The dual-SIM handset is backed by a 3930mAh battery which supports Quick Charge 3.0 and gives up to 25 hours of talktime. The smartphone is IP68 water and dust resistant, there is also a rear mounted fingerprint sensor on the device.

HTC U11+ will come with Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa, both can be launched using Edge Sense- by squeezing the edges. The phone has always on microphone which means you can launch Google Assistant or Amazon Alexa even when screen is off. Like the every other flagship devices around, this phone also doesn't have a 3.5mm audio-jack.

Connectivity options include - Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5, NFC, 4G VoLTE, GPS/A-GPS, GLONASS, and USB Type-C 3.1. It measures 158.5 x 74.9 x 8.5mm and weighs 188 grams. The phone wiil be available in three colours – ceramic black, translucent black, and amazing silver
