Honor 9 Lite Launched In India; Price Starts From Rs 10,999

Huawei’s sub-brand Honor has launched their latest smartphone Honor 9 Lite in India. The handset comes in two RAM+Storage configurations of 3GB+32GB and 4GB+64GB which are priced at Rs 10,999, and Rs 14,999, respectively. The major highlights of Honor 9 Lite are- dual cameras on both front and rear, Android 8.0 Oreo, 18:9 ratio display, and glass body.

Honor 9 Lite will go on sale in India from 21 January exclusively through Flipkart; it is available in blue, grey and black colours. Citi Bank debit and credit card users will get ten per cent instant discount on the purchase of Honor 9 Lite.

Honor 9 Lite runs on Honor’s EMUI 8.0 which is based on Android 8.0 Oreo. It runs on Huawei HiSilicon Kirin 659 Octa-core processor coupled with 3GB/4GB RAM. It has 32GB/64GB storage which is expandable up to 256GB in both variants through MicroSD card.

The glass body Honor 9 Lite features a 5.65-inch FHD+ (2160x1080) FullView display with 2.5D curved glass and 18:9 aspect ratio. It sports 13-MP+2-MP dual camera on both rear and front side. The rear camera also have PDAF fast focus and LED flash.

The dual-SIM handset is backed by a 3,000mAh battery which Honor claims can last for a day. There is also a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor with which users can unlock the phone in 0.25 seconds.

Connectivity options are- Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth, GPS, Micro-USB, and 3.5mm audio-jack. The smartphone measures 151 x 71.9 x 7.6mm and weighs 149 grams.
