Huawei’s sub-brand Honor recently unveiled their latest smartphone Honor 10 in China. The handset is expected to hit the Indian shores by end of this month.
According to the sources, Honor 10 will be priced around Rs 35,000 and will compete with the upcoming OnePlus 6 which is also arriving this month. Honor 10’s global launch is scheduled for 15 May in London, which means the handset might go on sale by May end.
The company has also announced that Honor 10 will be exclusively available through Flipkart in India. In China, the company launched two variants of Honor 10 with 64GB (CNY 2,599) and 128GB storage (CNY 2,999) options which roughly translates to Rs 27,300 and Rs 31,500, respectively.
Honor 10 runs on EMUI 8.1 based on Android 8.1 Oreo. It is powered by an Octa-core Huawei Kirin 970 coupled with Mali G72 GPU and 6GB RAM. It might be launched with two storage options of 64GB and 128GB.
Honor 10 features a 5.84-inch FHD+ (2280x1080) TFT LCD display with 19:9 aspect ratio. It features a dual-rear camera setup with 16-megapixel+24-megapixel sensors, LED flash, autofocus, and f/1.8 aperture. On the front is a 24-megapixel selfie snapper with f/2.0 aperture.
The dual-SIM handset is backed by a 3,400mAh battery which supports fast charging. There is also a front mounted fingerprint sensor which unlocks the device. It is available in four body shades- black, grey, mirage purple and mirage blue.
Connectivity options include- Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.2, NFC, USB 2.0 Type-C, 3.5mm headphone-jack, and Location. It measures 149.6 x 71.2 x 7.7mm and weighs 153 grams.
