American motorcycle manufacturer Harley-Davidson is going to launch its Softail Deluxe in India on February 28.
Harley-Davidson India has four bikes under its Softail model range – Street Bob (Rs 12, 01,000), Fat bob (Rs 14, 01,000), Fat Boy (Rs 17, 51,000), and Heritage Classic (Rs 19, 01,000).
Softail Deluxe will be its fifth offering to the Indian customers, under the said range, and is most likely will be priced somewhere around Rs 16 lakh.
Under the hood, Harley-Davidson Softail Deluxe will have 1746cc Milwaukee-Eight 107 engine that has a torque of 147.7Nm @ 3000rpm.
It might come with five colour options – Vivid Black, Twisted Cherry, Electric Blue, Silver Fortune/ Sumatra Brown, and Wicked Red/ Twisted Cherry; however with different nomenclature.
Some of its features will going to be pull-back handlebars; chrome laced wheels; LED headlight, running lights, turn signals and Tombstone tail/ stop light; all-new lighter and stiffer frame; new suspension technology; and all-new adjustable mono-shock rear suspension.
The bike measures 2415mm in length, with 657mm of seat height, 114mm of ground clearance, and 1630mm of wheelbase.
