Initiatives for the larger good
Meanwhile, the GL Bajaj Educational Institutions have launched several innovative programs to serve the society. The institute has developed a mobile app, 'Know Your Booth,' in association with the District Election Office to allow users to locate their booths and get themselves enrolled as new voters. The institute has also developed several mobile apps, such as 'Prevent Auto Felony,' 'GLBITM app,' 'Swachh APP Web Portal,' and 'SKYCRA app,' to enhance information broadcasting and address civic-related issues. Also, the NVIDIA AI Learning and Research Center has also been established at the campus. GL Bajaj is the only and first institute of AKTU to have this server.
This server is used to teach students at prestigious colleges throughout the world, including the University of Chicago, MIT University, and the University of New York, among others. The server in the center is worth Rs. 2 crores and has a capacity 250 times that of a standard server. It will help create an AI talent pool that is “industry-ready” and Encourage AI research in the universities. It will assist GL Bajaj students in obtaining better employment opportunities and empower AI-trained GLBians in developing long-term solutions to improve people’s lives and will eventually contribute to the Indian economy. In the pipeline are plans to develop an environment that aids in AI, ML, and other futuristic technologies. The addition of this lab is GL Bajaj’s first step in that approach.
Last but not the least, GL Bajaj has consistently maintained an excellent recruitment record. This is one of the main attractions for students to opt for GL Bajaj as the unique and prime choice during admissions in the state. 300 + recruiters visited the GL Bajaj campus in 2023, with the highest package worth Rs. 58 lakhs and an average package of Rs. 7.12 lakhs per annum. The top 5 recruiters recently were Palo Alto Networks, Intuit, Bosch, Capgemini, LTI, and Mindtree to name a few. Within a span of a little over two decades, GL Bajaj has established 12 institutions that are thriving with 14,000 students, 1000 faculty members, 8 campuses, and incubated 33 startups.
