What excite you to go to work every morning?
Jaipur Watch Company is the result of my passion and born out of my love for heritage coins and postage stamps. This passion and love are what drives me to work on creating something new every day. I am always on a quest for creating something exceptional. I love listening to my customers and translating their ideas into exceptional watches that they can pass on to generations.
What do you like for breakfast?
I strongly believe a great breakfast can keep you motivated and energetic throughout the day. For me, simple home-made breakfast with loads of fruits in the menu is a great way to kickstart my day.
Any morning rituals like Yoga and Exercise?
I believe running is the best way to keep yourself fit and healthy. I have been following a 4-KM run routine every day for the past many years. This has helped me stay fit and cheerful even in the most stressful kind of environment.
How important is eight hours sleep for you?
I believe good sleep is important to remain fit and healthy as well as be productive during the day. I always try to ensure that I have a good amount of sleep – though following an 8-hour routine is not always possible. I try to make sure I avoid late night outings and spend time at home in the evenings, which also allows me a chance to take an early nap once a while. I have young twins who are 3 years old and we make them sleep early so that they can catch up for their school the next morning.
How do you spend your evening?
Watches and coins are my biggest indulgence. They keep me busy even in free time – I like researching about watches and coins. I have a huge collection of coins – many of these coins are 70-80-year-old. I tend to read a lot about coins and watch industry in the evening during my spare time. And of course, I love to spend time with the family in the evening. The kids are real stress busters and when you are with them you are really relaxed.
