Ford India Launches New Titanium+ Petrol Variant Of EcoSport For Rs 10.47 Lakh

Ford India has launched all new top-of-the line Titanium+ petrol with manual transmission variant of its best-selling SUV – Ford EcoSport in the country for Rs 10.47 lakh (ex-showroom).

The new Titanium+ Ford EcoSport variant comes equipped with 1.5L Ti-VCT petrol engine that churns out 123PS of maximum output at 6500rpm, and 150Nm of maximum torque at 4500rpm. The engine is mated to a five speed manual transmission.

The petrol engine powered Titanium+ variant was until recently offered only with a six-speed automatic transmission.

The company claims the vehicle has a fuel efficiency of 17km/l.

The Titanium+ variant features bigger 17-inch alloy wheels and six-airbags to ensure all around safety of occupants.

Speaking about the launch, Rahul Gautam, Marketing Vice President of Ford India, said “Since new Ford EcoSport was introduced, our customers have been demanding a top-of-the-line Titanium+ petrol manual variant, offering enhanced safety with six airbags.  In our commitment to meet customer demands, we are pleased to introduce this variant and offer a greater choice to our customers.”

Ford debuted an all-new 1.5L petrol engine on the new Ford EcoSport, introduced in November 2017.

EcoSport is also available in other variants – 1.5L Petrol Ambiente MT, 1.5L Diesel Ambiente MT, 1.5L Petrol Trend MT, 1.5L Diesel Trend MT, 1.5L Petrol Trend+ AT, 1.5L Diesel Trend+ MT, 1.5L Petrol Titanium MT, 1.5L Diesel Titanium MT, 1.5L Petrol Titanium MT, 1.5L Diesel Titanium MT, 1.5L Petrol Titanium+ AT, and 1.5L Diesel Titanium+ MT.

Ford EcoSport petrol SUV has Honda WR-V and Tata Nexon as its toughest rivals in the said passenger vehicle segment in the country.
