Based on the new and emerging norms of HR in digitally transformed companies are equipped with more accurate assessment tools. Data is playing a pivotal role in the industry along with predictive intelligence and social profiling. CVs are not the only mediums to scan one’s past and present engagements, beyond it; companies are making a thorough check of potential candidates before conducting meetings or interviews. Transformation of the recruitment and selection procedure is now more dynamic with highly interactive on boarding programs, data-centric recruitment tools, and empowering the employees with self-service tools are the current hiring trends in the industry. Leaders shouldn’t stop appreciating their teams’ not just on bringing results but also on making serious efforts. This way, employees will not stop learning and enhancing their skills.
Has Visa rules affected IT projects in India? What can be done to revive the staffing industry?
India is a great pool of talent, especially in the IT which is the driver of digitisation and the backbone of almost every disruptive industry in the present world. So, the demand for Indian IT professionals is beyond supply. There is a temporary setback in the industry and its all due to structural ramifications in the policy frameworks of the countries. There is an urgent need to contemplate the changing scenario and adopt futuristic strategies for long-term survival.
How to make technology more relevant to bridge the skill gap in different professionals?
In addition to constant learning and development activities, customization, which is much easier these days than ever before is the best solution to minimize the skill gap.
How is the work culture in America different from India?
There is one big difference between the work cultures of the two greatest business nations in the world. Americans strive for change while Indians harmonize a change. The flexibility of Indians and professionalism of Americans create more productive and focused work culture. Diversity is the power of globalization, and it is mutually advantageous.
