The discount ranges from Rs 20,000 to Rs 2,00,000, depending on the discounting manufacturing policy of the carmaker.

Maruti Suzuki S-Cross
Premium product of India’s largest carmaker Maruti Suzuki, the crossover SUV is stylish, easy to ride, gives a good mileage and is loaded with a bunch of features giving it a rich look. Since its launch the car has earned good reviews and anyone who is looking to buy a car which is easy in city traffic and smooth on highways, S- Cross is one of the best option available.
The car having a price tag of between Rs 8 lakh to Rs 12 lakh is being offered with special festive benefits of up to Rs 90,000 that include loyalty bonus worth Rs 10,000, exchange bonus of Rs 30,000 and cash discount on approved loan amount. Cash discounts on finance support for the 1.3-litre model would amount to Rs 20,000, while on the 1.6-litre model it will be Rs 60,000.
Chevrolet Cruze
The powerful sedan of the American carmaker has remained of the favourites of people who loves speed. Sleek and sporty design makes it even more aspirational. The 2016 Chevrolet Cruze continues to be powered by the turbocharged 2.0-litre VCDi engine good for 163bhp along with 380Nm of torque. Transmission options remain the same - a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic gearbox.
Company is extending a generous discount on the car by giving a 4 gram gold coin on purchase of all the variants of the powerful Cruze sedan. It is providing an exchange bonus of INR 50,000 as well on the car with an additional cash benefit of INR 50,000. The total reductions in price lead to a whopping amount of INR 1,12,000.
The car is priced between Rs 14 lakh to Rs 18 lakh.
Honda City
Japanese auto giant Honda’s most famous offering in India the Honda City continues to remain the first choice of city buyers. The 2016 variants is being offered with two sets of engines and gearbox options. The diesel engine is the 1.5-litre i-DTEC unit from the Amaze sedan that churns out 98bhp and 200Nm of torque while the petrol is the retuned version of the 1.5-litre i-VTEC unit which produces 119bhp and 145Nm of torque. The 1.5-litre i-DTEC engine is India’s most efficient diesel engine delivering an ARAI tested mileage of 26 kmpl.
The 2016 petrol powered variants (E,S,SV CVT,VX CVT) are available at a insurance of Re 1 while the Petrol (SV,V,VX,VX(O) MT Variants) get Honda Assure at Re 1 plus cash benefit of INR 15,000. The 2015 petrol models are all getting a benefit of INR 60,000. When it comes to Diesel, the whole 2016 lineup gets Honda Assure at Re 1 plus exchange benefit of INR 15,000. On 2015 year Diesel variants, the benefits reach INR 60,000.
The car starts at a price tag of Rs 8.25 lakh and ends at Rs 12.76 lakh.
Renault Duster
The rough and rugged compact SUV is the celebrated model of French carmaker Renault. The car is also credited to popularise the compact SUV and people who are looking for great off-road and on-road experience can book the car without any hesitation. It is one of the popular car among young car lovers.
Priced between Rs 8.50 to 13.70 lakh, the car comes in both petrol and diesel engine. Launched in March this year, the 2016 Renault Duster features the addition of the six-speed Renault Easy-R AMT system to the 110 PS diesel variant-lineup. The AMT version has the same gear ratios as the manual, hence the mileage claimed is the same – 19.6 km/l.
For the festive season, thecar is giving a discount of INR 80,000 for the AMT model. The discount brings the car at par with the Manual variant in terms of pricing. Other than that, all the MT variants give the customer a choice of a gift cheque of INR 40,000 or Renault finance at a reduced rate of 7.77 per cent.
Ford Figo
The less popular car is perhaps the best option for people who confused between a hatchback and premium hatchback. The (ex showroom Delhi) prices start at INR 4.54 lakh for the hatchback
Figo is available with a 1.2-litre petrol which churns out 86bhp, a 1.5-litre petrol which puts out 110bhp, and the diesel 1.5-litre engine.
The top-end model is currently being offered with an extreme price cut of almost INR 30,000 for the Petrol model whereas the Diesel variant gets a INR 50,000 price cut. Apart from that the interest rate of 8.4 per cent allows for reduced pricing on financing the car.
