Bandhan Bank Names Ratan Kumar Kesh As Executive Director
Bandhan Bank appointed Ratan Kumar Kesh as its new Executive Director, following the approval of the bank's board and the Reserve Bank of India.
Kesh, who has over 28 years of experience across various industries, including banking and finance, manufacturing, and services, will be taking over the position from 31 March 2023, for a period of three years.
He has a BE in Mechanical Engineering from NIT, Durgapur, a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management from NMIMS, Mumbai, and has also completed Business Leadership and Strategic Agility Leadership courses from IIM Ahmedabad and Harvard Business School, respectively.
Kesh has a track record of leading complex operations, including transformation, automation, customer experience, and quality improvement, and has held leadership roles at several reputed banking organisations in India, such as ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank, Yes Bank, and Axis Bank.
At Axis Bank, he was instrumental in driving operational transformation, ideating and scaling up the Artificial Intelligence COE, and leading end-to-end retail operations. He was also recognized as one of India's top 25 Emerging Tech Leaders by BIOCON Network in collaboration with the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Govt of India.
