Divay Kumar believes that nobody usually grows up thinking that they’ll become an entrepreneur someday. He states that being one is a huge responsibility, and executing the idea takes a lot of strength and an exceptional team. “The more enriching part of the journey is sustaining the dream and leading it towards growth,” says Kumar.
With these thoughts, O4S, for Kumar, began as a tiny spark in his head that today has grown to become a multi-module SaaS platform supporting large enterprises with their critical supply chain operations. O4S is an IoT and ML integrated SaaS platform that helps manufacturing enterprises to digitise and automate the supply chain.
Expanding Footprint
OS4 was incepted in 2017 with an initial seed investment of $500,000 and took various iterations and improvisations to commercialise the modules by 2019. Since then, the company has expanded to more than ten countries with over 50 enterprise customers.
It has raised more than $10 million, including $7 million in their Series A round and is backed by prominent venture capital firms like Think Investments and Venture Highway. The business model is based on monetisation via monthly recurring licenses for customers, which are manufacturing enterprises.
In the short term, Kumar says that O4S aspires to provide flawless service to their existing customers but, in the long term, has the vision to make it the most promising global supply chain management platform.
Kumar states that understanding the principles of managing a brilliant team is a challenging and rewarding experience, and once that art is mastered, companies begin to work like clockwork. “A company is the reflection of everyone who has built it. Interpersonal relations are the most basic yet most essential part of running a business,” says Kumar.
