Avocados Australia, the representative body for the Australian avocado industry, announced its much-anticipated entry into the Indian market, accompanied by cricket icon Brett Lee as their esteemed brand ambassador.

With Brett Lee as a brand ambassador, this launch aims to introduce a premium and healthy option to Indian households, promoting the incorporation of avocados into everyday meals and snacks.
The avocado market in India is gaining momentum. Avocado consumption has increased in India, with global demand also witnessing a significant surge over the past decade. Avocado is a healthy addition to all diets and is perfect for those eating vegetarian diets.
Catherine Gallagher , Minister - Commercial, Head Austrade-South Asia, “Australia is absolutely at an all-time high, once we signed the Trade Free Trade Agreement, and even before that, the relationship between our two countries was already moving beyond the traditional cricket piece. And we've always had a great diplomatic relationship, that there was this recognition that we promoted ourselves and complementarity in economies.”
She added, “We're doing that at speed right now. So Austrade, which is the government agency ILO presented solders, John, we are the Australian Government's Trade and Investment Promotion Agency. And we have over 60 staff just in India. And aside from us as Trade Commission, we have this network of the most amazing Indian staff, who are passionate about enhancing the Australian-India relationship.”
