In this evolving landscape, there will remain a pressing need for individuals to oversee, innovate, and complement AI with human intelligence. AI, as impressive as it is, cannot fully replicate the depth of human cognition and creativity. As per the insights from the World Economic Forum, “the transformative potential of generative artificial intelligence in eliminating costs within the service sector is highly promising”. What makes this impact even more likely is the technology's keen focus on cost reduction, a factor that holds the key to generating significant macroeconomic benefits. The compelling evidence substantiating this deflationary impact is robust and clear. The reduction in prices stands to be a boon for consumers, as it has the potential to significantly enhance their actual purchasing power.
