Low-cost carrier AirAsia India on Wednesday (January 27) announced its third flight between Bengaluru and New Delhi.
"With our continued growth, strong demand and learning from the local market trend and passenger’s request we strongly believe in the enhanced connectivity between Bengaluru and Delhi. These are two of our hubs and it’s only apt that we give our passengers more connectivity and choice in terms of flight times," said Mittu Chandilya, CEO and managing director of AirAsia India.
The daily flight will be operational from March 1.
The increase in frequency is designed to cater to business and leisure travelers who are constantly on the lookout for convenient and comfortable flying options, the airline said.
AirAsia India has also offered low fares starting from Rs 3,199 one-way on this new frequency for flyers to book until January 31 for the travel period between March 1 and November 24.
With this increase in frequency, the airline will operate 40 flights connecting 10 destinations across India.
