Food enthusiasts from all walks of life converged at The Square, GMR Aerocity, on 13 and 14 January to experience the culinary spectacle that was the Aerocity Culinary Fest. This two-day gastronomic fiesta, a vibrant collaboration of 35+ brands, surpassed expectations, creating a memorable fusion of diverse cuisines, cultural performances, and unparalleled entertainment.
Culinary Odyssey:
Featuring 26 stalls such as Quick Fresh, Monsoon, Paanch Phoran, Magic with Spices, Cookdoors Food Services, Minnie's Kitchen, Amul, Tummilicious by Shardha, Faterniti Foods (Chef Ehshaan), Prerana's Kitchen, Saras, Vedatya, Awadh ki Shaan, Aaha!ar, Autocrest, Spyce Story, 1729, Beanly, ChaiVeda, Festive Special, Pret A Mange & Live & Learn Foundation, and many more, the festival successfully executed a tantalizing array of offerings spanning many state cuisines, including Tamil Nadu, Himachal Pradesh, Bengal, Kerala, Bihar, Punjab, Rajasthan, Kashmir, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Uttarakhand, Hyderabad, Karnataka Coastal Delicacy, Asian, European, and many more. To address the constant footfall that exceeded expectations, with thousands of attendees relishing the diverse culinary offerings, there were coffee, tea, and snacks stalls to help with the freezing winter.
Culinary Masterclasses and Panels:
Eight masterclasses were conducted by seven chefs, each representing a unique State cuisine and there were 4 Chef panels which indulged in various culinary discussions varying from their personal experiences to real-life implementation of techniques. The fest boasted many speakers & moderators. Notable culinary maestros like Chef Manjit Gill, Chef Rajeev Janveja, and Chef Sudhir Sibal graced the audience with their culinary wisdom.
Entertainment Extravaganza:
The festival's cultural tapestry unfolded with two dance troupes; Ridhim Dance Fusion Group & OORJA Dance Troupe, two music bands; SAAJH & Nazm Unplugged, and a spectacular Djembe troupe on the second day by Delhi Drum Circle, engaging the largest crowd ever. We also had the Mixer's Showdown by Rishi from 1729, and CHEF’S ODYSSEY & talks added a dynamic flair. The taste war concluded with top winners emerging and even kids participating who received goodies from Amul, Beanly & Nikos Travels.
Celebrations Beyond Culinary:
Aerocity Culinary Fest went beyond gastronomy, celebrating Lohri and Sankranti in a special festival spirit. A food blogger amplified the event through his channel, creating a digital resonance.
