Global consulting and professional services firm Accenture has forged a strategic collaboration with Indo Count Industries Limited, India-based home textile manufacturer. The partnership will look to elevate Indo Count's business operations through the implementation of cutting-edge digital technologies.
As part of this digital transformation journey, Accenture will work on standardising, optimising and re-engineering key business processes for Indo Count. This will include functions such as manufacturing, supply chain, logistics and procurement. The goal is reportedly to introduce efficiencies and unlock new growth avenues in the highly competitive home textile industry.
In a statement, Dinesh Singh, a managing director who leads Accenture’s Chemicals and Natural Resources practices in India, said, “Faced with multiple challenges including labour intensive manual processes, volatility of raw material supply, and rising environmental concerns, textile companies will need to reinvent every part of their business using technology, data and AI to optimise operations and accelerate innovation. A strong data-driven digital core will serve as the foundation for Indo Count’s reinvention, and we are pleased to be a part of this reinvention journey.”
Accenture's expertise will also be harnessed to design, develop and deploy a digital core using SAP S/4HANA Cloud. This sophisticated technology platform, driven by data and analytics, will automate and digitise various facets of Indo Count's operations. The focus areas include inventory management, quality standardisation, optimal energy consumption and fostering sustainable growth to enhance overall customer experience.
