36% Surge In Passive Fund AUM, 44% Equity Inflows Via SIP And NFO: Report
The Asset under Management (AUM) of Passive Funds witnessed a 36 per cent increase, rising from Rs. 4.7 lakh Crore in March 2022 to a staggering Rs. 6.46 lakh Crore in March 2023, according to the Bandhan Bank Mutual Fund Trends Report.
The report revealed that 44 percent of the total equity inflows for FY23 were channeled through the avenues of SIP and NFO, underscoring the growing preference for structured investment approaches.

The report also highlighted an achievement for Mutual Fund Distributors, as Cash Gross Sales surged by over 100 percent in FY23, showcasing their crucial role in facilitating investment channels.
The FinTech/RIA sector displayed unprecedented growth in the AuM of Index Funds, which soared by an impressive 102 percent, signaling the industry's seamless transition towards digital avenues and advisory platforms.
