Paytm Mall, owned by Paytm Ecommerce Pvt Ltd announced today that its recently concluded Diwali Maha Cashback Sale has received a tremendous response from customers across India. The platform registered 3X growth in the number of orders as compared to the Mera Cashback Sale, making this four-day sale Paytm Mall’s biggest and most successful sale during this festive season.
A majority of the purchases have been in Large Appliances and FMCG owing to the upcoming Diwali. Sellers from across 478 cities received orders from customers based out of 925 cities, with a larger share of orders coming from smaller cities like Guwahati, Sonipat, Siliguri, Rohtak, Jammu, Meerut, Thrisur, Kota, Ludhiana, Dehradun and Jalandhar as compared to previous sales.
Dry Fruits and gift items sold in large volumes, while Large Appliances like Sony Bravia LED TVs and LG Fully Automatic Top Loading Washing Machines were the best-selling products. Daily needs products clocked the highest volumes amongst categories in terms of number of products sold.
