Infinix has officially released the latest foldable smartphone, the Zero Flip, in India. With features such as a 50MP 4K camera system, a 6.9-inch foldable AMOLED display and a 4720mAh battery, the Zero Flip is aimed to be appealing to a wide range of users, from tech enthusiasts to everyday consumers. Priced at Rs 44,999, the Zero Flip will be available for purchase starting 24 October.
The smartphone offers a range of advanced features aimed at enhancing both performance and user experience. Its foldable display is a 6.9-inch LTPO AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, offering a responsive visual experience. The screen boasts a peak brightness of 1400 nits, offering decent visibility in bright outdoor environments. The device also has the largest cover display in its segment, measuring 3.64 inches, which also supports a 120Hz refresh rate and 1100 nits of brightness. Both displays support the 100 per cent DCI-P3 colour gamut, producing vibrant and accurate colours.
The Zero Flip is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 on the external screen and Glass 7 on the battery cover, for durability. Its hinge, which can withstand up to 400,000 folds, features a 30-degree to 150-degree multi-angle hovering function, adding flexibility to the device’s use.
Camera System
The camera system includes a 50MP main camera capable of recording 4K video at 30 FPS and an ultra-wide-angle lens. On the front, the device features a 50MP camera with the capability to record 4K at 60 FPS, accompanied by an LED flash for improved low-light performance. The camera system also includes features such as Hover Selfie, Dual Preview, Time Lapse and AI Vlog Mode. Both the front and rear cameras support 4K video recording with ProStable technology for enhanced stability.
Performance And Battery
The Zero Flip is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8020 processor with an octa-core CPU and Arm Mali-G77 MC9 GPU, designed to offer efficient multitasking and performance. It comes with 512GB of internal storage and up to 16GB of extended RAM. The device’s 4720mAh battery, the largest in its segment, supports 70W Super Charge technology, enabling quick charging. The smartphone also offers reverse charging capabilities, making it possible to charge other devices.
Other Features
The device includes advanced AI features such as Folax, a voice assistant powered by Gemini, and AI-enhanced media creation tools such as AI Eraser and Smart Image Search. The phone also supports a multifunctional card system for quick access to commonly used functions like the camera, without having to unfold the device.
For entertainment and functionality, the external screen supports apps like YouTube, WhatsApp and Google Maps, and users can interact with dynamic 3D pets on the cover screen. JBL joint tuning is featured for enhanced sound quality, and the phone is equipped with the MOL 2.1 Translation Master, which supports translation across various communication channels.
Running on the latest Android version, the Zero Flip is upgradeable to Android 16 and will receive three years of security patch updates. This gadget will be available for Rs 44,999, starting on 24 October, 2024.
