Huawei has introduced the GT5 smartwatch to the Indian market, featuring a mix of sports and health tracking capabilities alongside a luxury design. The GT5 comes in two size variants: a 46mm edition targeted at men and a 41mm edition designed for women, offering multiple colour options to appeal to different style preferences.
The smartwatch is equipped with the company’s proprietary TruSense technology for health and fitness monitoring, including satellite-based GNSS tracking. The watch incorporates a unique emotional wellbeing assistant, which uses dynamic watch faces that adapt based on the user’s emotional state. The GT5 boasts a resolution of 466 x 466 pixels for both the male and female editions, offering 352 PPI for the 46mm edition and 326 PPI for the 41mm edition.
Both editions of the smartwatch are water-resistant up to 50 meters, making them suitable for swimming and other water-related activities. The watch also supports over 100 workout modes, with professional sports tracking available for activities such as golf, trail running and free diving. The Stay Fit app allows users to track their caloric intake and meals, while Activity Rings 2.0 provides a comprehensive overview of daily fitness activity.
Built-in offline maps and real-time navigation enhance the user experience for outdoor activities. The GT5 supports Bluetooth calls and is compatible with both iOS and Android devices via the Harmony app. The smartwatch also includes a feature allowing users to take screenshots directly from the watch.

The GT5 features prism straps and an ergonomic design intended to suit both casual and formal occasions. The 46mm edition is available in Blue, Brown and Black, while the 41mm edition comes in White, Brown, Blue, Gold and Black. Pricing for the Huawei GT5 starts at Rs 18,999, and it comes with a 12-month warranty.
