Apple September 15 Event: What to Expect
Tech giant Apple is all set to introduce a new watch and a new iPad later in the day as per the Indian Standard Time. However, one shouldn’t expect new versions of the iPhone from this event as the company flagged a delay of a few weeks from the usual timeline in July.
Due to the Coronavirus scare, the event will be organized virtually, and a live stream of the same can be watched via Apple’s website, its official YouTube channel, and through the Apple TV app. For India, the live event of the event will start at 10:30 pm IST. Additionally, the recorded event will be archived on Apple.com as well.
Expect Apple Watch Series 6?
Apple is likely to announce the Apple Watch Series 6. The upcoming watch is rumored to come with built in blood oxygen meter along with pulse tracking and heart rate monitor features. The rumors also suggested that the series of watch might get new or faster processor. Moreover, the company might focus profoundly on new health features. Also, reports suggest that the Series 6 watch might get the always-on displace that was earlier seen in Series 5.
Media reports indicate that with new OS7, Apple Watch Series 6 might officially drop the support for Force Touch. Force Touch allows users to press on the device’s display to access additional content and controls.
Apple Watch SE
Apart from Apple Watch Series 6, Apple might launch a cheaper version of Apple Watch. The company could call it Apple Watch SE, which is expected to replace the Apple Watch Series 3. This step will mark Apple entry in cheaper segment of watches which is currently dominated by Huawei and Fit bit and Samsung Watches.
Media Reports also indicates that Apple Watch SE would feature a design similar to the Series 4-Series 5 Watches.
A Refreshed Ipad Air 4?
The US tech giant is likely to refresh its iPad Air series with the introduction of new iPad Air 4. It is said that it would be the successor to the iPad Air 3 that was introduced in March 2019. The new iPad Air 4 also be seen as new alternative or cheaper alternative of iPad Pro. It is expected that there will be no change in design and it will look similar to iPad pro. Moreover, it might come with an edge-to-edge display.
Additionally, several reports also indicated that there it might feature Touch ID built into the side button.
