Whatsapp service was down for many users across the world for a while. Users were not able to connect with each other. According to various news sources, Whatsapp encountered a technical error which resulted in a global breakdown of the app.
This is not the first time that the messaging app has gone down, similar outrages occurred in August and twice in May this year.
When logged into Whatsapp, this message popped into the screens of the users. “Our service is experiencing a problem right now. We are working on it and hope to restore the functionality shortly. Sorry for the inconvenience”.
According to independent website Downdetector, the outrage spread across Europe and Asia.
After the outrage, users went to Twitter for seeking an official statement from the Facebook-owned company but it comes out that nothing has been tweeted from the Whatsapp’s twitter handle since 2014. Later on, Whatsapp users started making trolls, out of the situation, on Twitter.
Although every Whatsapp user is not experiencing this issue and some of the users who experienced the outrage are claiming that there Whatsapp is working now.
