Time magazine 2022 named Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky as 'Person Of The Year' on Wednesday. The magazine also appreciated the spirit of Ukraine throughout the difficult time of Russian exertion in the country.
Time editor-in-chief Edward Felsenthal wrote ''Whether the battle for Ukraine fills one with hope or with fear, Volodymyr Zelensky galvanised the world in a way we haven't seen in decades."
The magazine added that Zelensky had inspired Ukrainians and was recognised internationally for his courage in resisting the Russian invasion.
It also said, "Zelensky's success as a wartime leader has relied on the fact that courage is contagious."
While Iranian women who are protesting against the establishment for their dignity and rights are named 'Heroes of the Year' by Time magazine.
