Panasonic has launched its latest Panasonic Eluga A4 in India’s fastest growing mid-range smartphone category. Priced at Rs 12,490, the smartphone is offline exclusive. At this price, Panasonic has entered the territory which is currently led by Xiaomi in India. Panasonic Eluga A4 will face tough competition with the likes of Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, Lenovo K8 Note, and Moto G5s among others which are already leading the market.
The handset comes in three colours- mocha gold, marine blue and champagne gold. Eluga A4 is the successor of Panasonic’s Eluga A3 and A3 Pro which launched back in August later this year.
Panasonic Eluga A4 runs on Android 7.1 Nougat and powered by 1.25GHz MediaTek MT6737 Quad-core processor coupled with 3GB RAM. It has 32GB internal storage which is expandable up to 128GB through a hybrid dual-SIM configuration where second SIM slot doubles as a MicroSD card holder.
Eluga A4 features a 5.2-inch HD (1280x720) IPS display with 2.5D curved glass. Talking about the optics, it sports a 13-megapixel auto-focus rear camera and on the front is a 5-megapixel selfie snapper.
The dial-SIM smartphone is backed by a 5000mAh battery which supports quick charging. There is also a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor with which you can unlock the device. Connectivity options are – Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, 4G VoLTE, USB 2.0, GPS, and 3.5mm audio-jack. The handset measures 149.5 x 74 x 8.95 and weighs 162 grams.
