Neha Narkhede 8th Richest Indian Woman: Hurun

Research firm Hurun has reported that Neha Narkhede, co-founder and former chief technology officer of cloud company Confluent, has been ranked as the 8th richest woman in India.
Having a net worth of Rs 13,380, the 38-year-old has recently joined the list of wealthiest women.
With a market capitalisation of USD 11.4 billion, Confluent had risen to 25 per cent on NASDAQ in June 2021.
Confluent was launched by Neha Narkhede, who previously worked at LinkedIn, where she designed a messaging system for handling the site's huge data volumes called Apache Kafka.
Narkhede grew up in Pune, Maharashtra, and graduated from SCTR's Pune Institute of Computer Technology (PICT) college with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering.
She left for abroad in 2006 and completed her master's degree at Georgia Tech.
Immediately following graduation in 2007, she worked as a software engineer for Oracle and then LinkedIn.
Forbes recognised her as one of the world's and America's top 50 women in tech in 2017. She was ranked 33rd on Forbes' America's Self-Made Women list in October 2020."
According to the report, nine of the 20 women are self-made and aged below 40.
For the second time in a row, Roshni Nadar Malhotra, chairperson of HCL Technologies, topped the Hurun list.
As per the list, with a wealth of Rs 57,520 crore, FSN E-commerce promoter has surpassed Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw of Biocon to become India's second richest self-made woman.
