Huawei’s sub-brand Honor on Thursday (5 October) launched its latest smartphone Honor 9i in India. Major highlights of the smartphone are FullView display, and four camera setup. Priced at Rs 17,999, Honor 9i will be exclusively available from 14 October. It comes in three colour options- platinum gold, midnight black and navy blue.
Honor 9i runs on EMUI 5.1 based on Android 7.0 Nougat. It is powered by Huawei Kirin 659 Octa-core processor coupled with 4GB RAM. It has 64GB internal storage which is expandable up to 128GB through a MicroSD card.
Honor 9i features a 5.9-inch FullView FHD (2160x1080) display with 18:9 aspect ratio. It sports a dual rear camera setup of 16-MP+2-MP with LED flash. On the front is also a dual camera setup of 13-MP+2-MP with soft flash and bokeh effects.
The dual-SIM Honor 9i is backed by a 3340mAh battery that can deliver up to 20 hours of talktime. There is a fingerprint sensor on the rear which is used for unlocking the device.
Connectivity options are- Wi-Fi- 802.11 b/g/n, Micro-USB 2.0, USB OTG support, 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, and GLONASS. The handset measures 156.2 x 75.2 x 7.5mm and weighs 164 grams.
