Honor 8 Pro, 6X Now Available At Discounted Price On Amazon, Flipkart
Huawei’s sub-brand Honor has announced that Honor 8 Pro and Honor 6X smartphones will be available with discounts on Flipkart and Amazon. The offers on Amazon will be available during its “Great Indian Sale” from 4 to 8 October and on Flipkart during the “Festive Dhamaka Days” sale from 5 to 8 October.
Honor 8 Pro is getting a price slash of Rs 3,000 and now available at a discounted price of Rs 26,999 on both Flipkart and Amazon. On the other hand, Honor 6X is now available with the discount of Rs 1,000 at Rs 10,999 for 32GB storage variant and Rs 12,999 for the 64GB variant.
Apart from the discounted price, Flipkart’s is offering 10 per cent cashback on the purchase of Honor smartphones through Axis Bank debit and credit cards. Amazon is also providing no-cost EMI offer on the purchase of these smartphones.

Honor 8 Pro
To recall, Honor 8 Pro runs on Android 7.0 Nougat with company’s Emotion UI 5.1 skin on top. The handset is powered by Octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 960 coupled with 6GB of RAM. The new smartphone has an internal storage of 128GB which can be expanded up to 256GB through a hybrid dual-SIM configuration; the SIM 2 slot becomes a MicroSD card slot.
The device features a 5.7-inch QHD (2560x1440) LTPS LCD display with 2.5D curved glass on top. It sports a dual camera setup on the rear with 12-megapixel+12-megapixel sensors, f/2.2 aperture and dual tone LED Flash. On the front is an 8-megapixel camera with f/2.0 aperture.
Honor 8 is backed by a non-removable Lithium-polymer 4000mAh battery which supports fast charging, it takes only 30 minutes of charging will charge the battery to 35 per cent. The device has a rear mounted fingerprint sensor and 3.5mm audio-jack.
The connectivity options of smartphone are- Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.2, USB 2.0 Type-C, 4G VoLTE, A-GPS and GLONASS.
Honor 6X
Honor 6X runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with Honor’s EMUI 4.1 on top. The handset is powered by Octa-core Kirin 655 processor. It is available in two RAM/storage variants of – 3GB+32GB and 4GB+64GB and storage on both variants is expandable up to 128GB through MicroSD card.
Honor 6X features a 5.5-inch FHD (1920x1080) LTPS display. It sports a dual camera at the rear with 12-megapixels + 2-megapixels sensors, PDAF and LED flash. On the front is an 8-megapixels selfie shooter. The handset is backed by a 3340mAh battery.
