NimbusPost Expands, Appoints Adithyan Asokan As Country Head

NimbusPost, the fastest-growing shipping aggregator is expanding its business in Indonesia. To expand its foothold across the world, the brand is starting off with Indonesia.
The Indonesian logistics industry presently contributes nearly 27 per cent to the country’s GDP with 2500+ traditional 3PL service providers and a 30 per cent market share led by the top 10 3PLs.
On this expansion, Yash Jain, Co-founder and CEO of NimbusPost said, "In a bid to expand our foothold across the world, we’ve started operations in the Southeast Asia region. We’re actively hiring professionals to expand our team across different functions. Indonesian market as the country’s eCommerce revenue is expected to grow at a CAGR of 13.16 per cent by 2025, and the logistics requirements are bound to follow the suit.”
NimbusPost is expected to hire 500+ people to its Indonesian team over the next quarter to fulfill the country’s logistics requirements swiftly. Backed by Indonesia’s leading 20+ courier partners, NimbusPost will cater to the shipping needs of online brands across 1M+ serviceable destination pairs in the country.
The company has appointed Adithyan Asokan as the country head for NimbusPost Indonesia. Asokan with experience of nearly a decade in SEA across start-ups and unicorns understands market intricacies and will help NimbusPost to function in the expanding country and resolve the at hand issues.
In the current quarter, the company is looking forward to hiring a local team to handle the marketing, sales, and HR operations. Aiming to enter the 3PL business model, NimbusPost is planning to access 35+ domestic 3PLs around mid of this year. The company may also integrate its platform with local payment e-wallets like Gopay, Grabpay, VA, etc.
On the marketing front, the shipping giant is ready to ramp up its marketing spending for digital marketing, influencer marketing, etc. in a bid to acquire 20,000+ users by the mid of 2022.
