Every month, Netflix uploads a ton of unique content and July is no different for the video platform.
Netflix will be bringing some classic blockbusters to several originals for the month of July. The month is special for Netflix as it brings its first ever Star Wars movie and the brand new Castlevania Animated series.
Netflix will unveil big titles like Titanic, E.T., Best in Show, Punch-Drunk Love, Blair Witch and many more classics. Some uniquely amazing Netflix originals will also hit the screens in July.

1. Friends From College
Available from - 14 July
The Netflix original comedy drama is created by Nicholas Stoller (Get him to the Geek and Forgetting Sarah Marshall). Season 1 of ‘Friends From College’ will contain eight half-hour episodes. The show revolves around a group of friends who went to Harvard together and are meeting each other after several years. The show is packed by a stellar cast of Cobie Smulders, Annie Parisse and Nat Faxon. The show is generating good buzz because of the comeback of Cobie Smulders in the comedy genre. The series is a comic exploration of old friendship and romance.
2. Castlevania
Available from - 7 July
Castlevania is inspired by the classic video game series of the same name. The story revolves around the last surviving member of disgraced Belmont Clan, trying to save Eastern Europe from extinction at the hand of Vlad Dracula. The animated series revolves around dark medieval fantasy. The trailers look promising and this should be on the watch-list of every animae lover.
3. Ozark
Available from - 21 July
The Netflix drama series is created by Bill Dubuque. The series will comprise of ten one-hour episode. Jason Bateman is one of the lead actors in Ozark and will also be directing half of the episodes in season 1. Bateman plays the role of a financial planner who has to pay off a large debt to a Mexican drug lord. The Arrested Development actor looks intense in his portrayal of Marty Bird.
4. To The Bone
Available from - 14 July
The Marti Noxon’s Netflix Original drama film is based on the life of a girl who battles Anorexia- a kind of eating disorder. The film has been premiered at the Sundance Film Festival earlier this year. The film also stars Keanu Reeves in the lead. Lily Collins character shift for the movie is appreciated by the critics and viewers from the Sundance Festival.
5. The Incredible Jessica James
Available from – 28 July
The comedy film starrer Jessica Williams is a highly awaited Netflix content. After its release at the Sundance Film Festival, Netflix acquired its distribution rights in January. The film has been written and directed by James C. Strouse (Winning Season and Grace is Gone). The film also stars Chris O’ Dowd and Noell Wells in the lead.
6. iZombie Season 3
Available from - 2nd week of July
Not a Netflix original, iZombie will be aired on Netflix from the second week of July, just after a week of its finale release on The CW channel. The Rob Thomas series is the adoption of the comic book series of the same name. The series is known for its unusual content and has received positive critic reviews for the first two seasons. The show stars Rose Mclver, Malcolm Goodwin and Rahul Kohli in the lead.
7. Aditi Mittal’s ‘Things They Wouldn’t Let Me Say’

One of India’s top stand-up comic, ‘Aditi Mittal’, will be doing a special stand-up for Netflix. The Netflix show revolves around gender revolution. Aditi’s bold wit and humour on Netflix will be a perfect treat for her fans in India and across the world. Aditi is the fourth Indian to do a stand-up show for Netflix after Aziz Ansari, Hasan Minhaj and Vir Das.
8. Pretty Little Liars
Available from - 20 July
The seventh and the last season of the mystery drama based on the book of same name will be one of the most interesting watches on Netflix for the month of July. The Freeform original series consists of 20 episodes in the final season.
