There may be many major changes in the UPSC Civil Services Examination in the coming years. Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is thinking of taking an action against all the candidates who do not attend the examination after filling up the form.
UPSC has stated in the proposal sent to the personnel and training that the students who do not join the examination by completing the form for the Civil Services Preliminary Examination should be deducted in their efforts. According to UPSC, half of the filling forms are not included in the examination. Even before this, UPSC had sent a proposal to the government that if a student fills the UPSC form then it should be considered as an attempt. In UPSC, a maximum of six attempts are provided to the general category.
UPSC believes that if the students who are absent in the form by filling the form are punished then the students will not take the unnecessary examination. This will save resources.
In addition, the Commission has proposed to eliminate the Aptitude Test (C-SAT) in the Civil Services Examination. UPSC has stated in its proposal that the C-SAT paper is a waste of time. Because of the question of Reasoning and English, millions of students say that this paper only benefits the students of the convent and engineering.
