Uttar Pradesh government has decided to pace up the process of Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) across the state by taking it online. The Yogi Adityanath government is on a job creation drive to provide work to the large unemployed population.
Yogi Adityanath met Union Minister of State Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (Independent Charge) Rajiv Pratap Rudy and addressed a joint press conference where the UP CM said the state government has decided to take the procedures of the institutes online, since there have been question marks about the quality of ITIs in UP.
With this move, the government will ensure the cutting down of processes with regard to conducting of examinations and time to declare results in a span of 24 hours.
Rajiv Pratap Rudy said, "Centre is working on a big plan under which it will be ensured that the quality and standard of all ITIs (government and private) were up to the mark. In the next three to five years, one ITI would be opened in all the districts of the state.”
The government is planning to train interested people in driving along with ensuring ease to develop various skills among the youths of the state. Yogi Adityanath also said that the country needs four to five lakhs well-trained drivers at present and UP will contribute to it.
The Chief Minister added that the state government has decided to help in opening of as many as 18 driving training schools across the state by providing land where people can come and learn driving skills.
