A large number of people from across the state showed up at Chief Minister's second 'Jandarshan' with tremendous enthusiasm. This public interaction programme, held at the CM House, provided an opportunity for citizens to meet Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai in person and submit their requests and appeals for redressal.
During the programme, the Chief Minister distributed cheques of Rs two lakhs each to the meritorious children of labourers, acknowledging their academic achievements. Additionally, Shri Sai planted a Dehiman sapling in honour of his mother, symbolising his commitment to environmental conservation.
Visitors also availed themselves of the health check-up services arranged at the venue, where they got their blood, BP, and sugar levels checked. Many attendees expressed their gratitude to the Chief Minister for the immediate resolution of their applications from the previous 'Jandarshan' programme. Differently-abled individuals who had received tricycles and other equipment in the past returned to thank Shri Sai for his quick response.
At today's Jandarshan programme, Chief Minister awarded cheques of incentives worth Rs two lakhs each under the Mukhyamantri Noni-Babu Medhavi Shiksha Sahayta Yojana. This included Rs one lakh as an incentive and another lakh for purchasing scooters to help the students commute to schools and colleges. These children, all from labourer families, were among the top 10 rankers in the 2023-24 board exams for classes 10 and 12.
In honour of his mother, Sai planted a Dehiman sapling, known for its medicinal properties found in the Surguja region. He also appealed to the public to join the 'Ek Ped Ma Ke Naam' campaign initiated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, encouraging everyone to plant a sapling in honour of their mothers.
The programme commenced with the Chief Minister paying tribute to Swami Vivekananda on his death anniversary by offering flowers to his portrait. He remarked that Swami Vivekananda's teachings would continue to inspire people for centuries to come.
In the previously organised Jandarshan programme, numerous applications were resolved on the spot or shortly after, leading many satisfied individuals to attend today's event to personally thank the Chief Minister for his swift actions. The health camp organised at the venue saw a significant turnout, with people getting their health checkups, blood tests, blood pressure, and sugar levels monitored.
The event exemplified the Chief Minister's commitment to addressing public grievances promptly and fostering community welfare through various initiatives.
