The Tall Boy Is Back – Hyundai Unveils The All New Santro
Hyundai has finally revealed The Santro. The Carmaker has published the first pictures and the New Santro looks great. The Santro is one of most anticipated launches of the season coinciding with the brand's 20th anniversary in India. The World Premiere of The All New SANTRO will be held on October 23, 2018 in New Delhi.
Speaking at the unveiling of the All New SANTRO, Mr. Y K Koo, MD & CEO, HMIL said “The All New SANTRO is based on the six key pillars – Modern Stylish Tallboy design, Comfortable and Premium Cabin, New Age technology, Customer Centric Safety, All Round Performance and Complete Peace of Mind, to become a Game Changer and Benchmark Product in the Indian Auto Industry.”
The front of The All New SANTRO is defined by Hyundai’s Signature Cascade Grille with chrome surround and supplemented by Fog lamps on both the sides. The Front-end of the New Santro looks smart and urban. Hyundai is packing in Apple Carplay and Android Auto in a Segment first 7inch touchscreen AV system. Voice recognition and Rear Camera display will also be available. Safety wise, ABS, EBD and driver side airbag is standard across the range. Rear AC vents, another first in segment feature is also available in the Santro.
In the Engine Department, the New Santro is powered by Hyundai’s proven 1.1L 4-cylinder unit. This unit has a peppy low end and is quite frugal with the fuel. An in-house developed AMT will be available for the people who want an Automatic. Factory Fitted CNG option will also be available. A 3years/100,000kms warranty with 3years Roadside assistance is also offered.
The Pre-Booking for All New SANTRO will be 100% online starting from October 10, 2018, till October 22, 2018, with Rs 11,100 as booking amount for the first 50,000 customers as an introductory offer.
