Automotive player Schaeffler India reported higher sales at Rs 1,849.22 crore, in March 2024, up by 9.19 per cent from Rs 1,693.62 crore in March 2023.
The company’s quarterly net profit stood at Rs 227.67 crore in March 2024, up by 3.78 per cent from Rs 219.37 crore in March 2023.
EBITDA in the same period was recorded at Rs 366.38 crore up by 5.47 per cent from Rs 347.37 crore in March 2023.
In a statement, Harsha Kadam, Managing Director said, “The year 2024 started well for us as we registered a strong YoY growth in our domestic business. Margins for the quarter remained resilient despite seasonality in some of our sectors.”
Schaeffler India’s EPS showcased an increase of Rs 14.60 in March 2024 from Rs 14 in March 2023.
Established more than 60 years ago, Schaeffler India is a motion technology company with four manufacturing sites in Pune, Savli, Maneja and Hosur. It has three R&D centres and eight sales offices.
In 2023, the company reported sales of Rs 72,261 million, supported by a team of 3,383 employees.
