South Korean smartphone giant, Samsung is all set to host the Galaxy Unpacked event on August 5, 2020. There are lots of speculations doing rounds over the internet and Samsung also teased some major products for this event. The rumored product portfolio consists, Galaxy Note 20 series smartphones, the Galaxy Z Fold 2, Galaxy Tab S7 series, Galaxy Watch 3, and also Galaxy Buds Live.
Due to coronavirus scare, the event will be organized virtually and the live stream of the event can be seen at Samsung Website and its social channels at 7:30 IST. We have compiled the list of major product launches and specifications so that you can get a sneak peek of the event.
Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Series
According to the latest reports, Samsung may skip the Plus a variant of Note 20 Series and will only launch Galaxy Note 20 and the most superior Galaxy Note Ultra. The reports also suggest that Galaxy Note 20 will come with 6.7 inches super AMOLED display panel with a 60Hz refresh rate while its premium sibling will get 6.9 inches curved AMOLED display with the 120 Hz refresh rate.
Coming on the hardware part, the recent rumors claim that both smartphones are likely to get the Exynos 990 for global variants whereas China and the US variant might get the latest Snapdragon 865+.
As far as Cameras are concerned, The Galaxy Note 20 ultra is said to be equipped with a triple camera set up (108 MP + 12 MP + 12 MP). On the other hand, Galaxy Note 20 is likely to miss that 108 MP camera and have to settle with (64 MP + 12 MP + 12 MP). For selfies, both the smartphones will sport a 10 MP front camera.
Additionally, the ultra-display fingerprint scanner and support of HDR 10+ is also expected in the recent reports.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold2 5G
The reports suggest that Galaxy Z Fold 2 5G will be equipped with the 7.7 inch AMOLED display (When unfolded) and the outer display will be 6.3 inch AMOLED display. There are also reports which claim that internal display will also get the 120Hz refresh rate. The camera setup is said to come as (12 MP+64 MP+12 MP). The selfie camera will remain the same (10 MP) that it is offering in Galaxy Note 20 Series, reports claims.
Under the hood, it is said to be powered by the latest 865+ processor paired with 12 GB RAM and 512 GB internal storage.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 Series
The Samsung Galaxy tab S7 is expected to feature 11 inch IPS LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate and HDR10+ whereas its premium sibling might get a 12.4 inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and HDR10+ support.
According to the latest reports, both tablets might get the 865+ flagship processor which will be paired with an internal storage of 256 GB.
