Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Tipped For Galaxy Unpacked Event
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 lineup is rumored to launch alongside the S22 series. The information is revealed by a tipster Max Jambor.
“Tab S8 def launching along with S22. What product are you most excited for?” he tweeted.
Recently, a South Korean publication also revealed that Samsung will hold its Galaxy Unpacked event on February 8.
Usually, Samsung comes up with a new lineup every year either in January or February. Last year, the Samsung S21 series was announced on 14th January.
Till now, Samsung hasn’t yet confirmed or released any official communication. However, it is expected that Samsung might confirm its Galaxy Unpacked event within a week's time.
Samsung Tab S8 series will consist of Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 will get, Galaxy Tab S8 Plus, and Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra.
According to the report of WinFuture, the Galaxy Tab S8 will sport an 11-inch LTPS TFT display with a resolution of 2,560 x 1,500 pixels. The Galaxy Tab S8+ will get a 12.7-inch AMOLED display with 2,800 x 1,752 pixels and lastly, the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra reportedly boasts a 14.6-inch Super AMOLED display with 2,960 x 1,848 pixels. Both S8+ and S8 Ultra are said to support a 120Hz refresh rate.
Samsung Tab S8 series is said to be powered by top of the line Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 Processor.
Coming to the optics, Tab S8 Ultra will get a pair of 12MP front cameras. On the other hand, the Tab S8 and S8+ will come with a 12MP selfie shooter. At the rear, all three tablets will reportedly get a 12MP primary and 6MP ultrawide lens.
Samsung Tab S8 series will get an 8,000mAh, 10,090mAh, and 11,200mAh battery, respectively with support for 45W fast charging.
The three tablets will run on Android 12 OS out of the box with One UI 4.1 skin. Connectivity features include four speakers, a USB Type-C port, Wireless DeX, 5G, Wi-Fi 6, and S-Pen. For security, all the tablets will get face recognition and fingerprint sensor.
As far as price is concerned, the South Korean tech giant could launch the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra with a starting price tag of $1,100 (speculated price).
