Samsung India, a consumer electronics brand, unveiled the Galaxy F55 5G, its most premium offering in the F series. The smartphone features a sleek and stylish design with a vegan leather finish on the back panel. This marks the first time Samsung has introduced a vegan leather design in the F series.
Additionally, the Galaxy F55 5G will be available in three storage variants – 8GB RAM with 128GB storage, 8GB RAM with 256GB storage and 12GB RAM with 256GB storage. Prices start at Rs 24,999 for the base variant. The phone will go on sale in India from 27 May onwards.
The Galaxy F55 5G offers several high-end specifications, including a Super AMOLED+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processor and 45W fast charging. Samsung is also committing to four generations of Android upgrades and five years of security updates for the device.
“With Galaxy F55 5G, Samsung will be offering a classy vegan leather design with a saddle stitch pattern for the very first time in the F series,” said Raju Pullan, Senior Vice President, MX Division, Samsung India. “The classy vegan leather back panel with saddle stitch pattern and the camera deco in a golden hue exudes premium aesthetics. Galaxy F55 5G will come in two mesmerising colours – Apricot Crush and Raisin Black.”
In addition, the Galaxy F55 5G is expected to be one of the slimmest vegan leather smartphones in its segment this year. It features a 6.7-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED+ display with 1000 nits peak brightness and Vision Booster technology. The 120Hz refresh rate caters to users who demand a smooth and responsive viewing experience.
The Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processor promises seamless multitasking and a fast mobile gaming experience with high-speed connectivity. The camera system features a 50MP primary sensor with optical image stabilisation (OIS), an 8MP ultrawide sensor and a 50MP high-resolution front camera.
Further, the Galaxy F55 5G has a 5000mAh battery and supports 45W fast charging. Samsung’s Knox Security and Knox Vault platforms are included to safeguard user privacy and data. The smartphone will also come with features like Voice Focus for improved call clarity and Quick Share for easy file sharing across devices.
