On November 13, PVR INOX, the largest and premium cinema exhibitor in India, opened 10 screens across 2 new multiplexes in Mumbai and Bhubaneswar. The new cinemas aim to expand the company's presence in key markets and target new demographics. PVR INOX now has 345 screens in 76 properties in Western India and 138 screens in 36 properties in Eastern India.
Maison INOX, a 6-screen multiplex located in Jio World Centre, Mumbai, has 2 Insignia screens, 1 IMAX screen and 3 regular screens with a total seating capacity of 790 audiences. PVR INOX now has a screen portfolio of 260 screens in 53 properties across 15 cities in Maharashtra.
Meanwhile, the 4-screen multiplex located at Utkal Kanika Galleria Mall, Bhubaneswar is the first cinema in the city featuring all 4K Laser screens with a seating capacity of 682 audiences. In Odisha, PVR INOX has a presence in the cities of Bhubaneswar, Cuttack and Rourkela with a screen portfolio of 29 screens in 7 properties.
