Horses, high society and hats, all came together in stately style at the Capital's Jaipur Polo Ground on Sunday ( 22 November) to see defending champions Jindal Panthers clash with Rajnigandha Achievers in one of the most anticipated finals of the Delhi Polo season.
In a nail-biting playoff, Naveen Jindal's Jindal Panthers emerged victorious, lifting the 2015 Yes Bank Indian Masters Polo title. They beat out the competition by 5 goals to 4.
The winning side's Simran Shergill was adjudged the Most Valuable Player and among the mares, Pine from the Jindal stables was crowned the Best Polo Pony of the match.
The prizes were given away by Yes Bank's Raakhe Kapoor Tandon and Alkesh Tandon along with Radha Kapoor.
Attendants included Suhel Seth, Yashodhara Raje Scindia, Raghavendra Rathore as well as the ambassadors of Brazil, Greece, Cyprus and Guatemala, among a host of polo aficionados.
