IP University Law Students Start Legal Start up

The era of start-ups, from different sectors, in India has caught the imagination of all the young minds, and legal field is no exception.

Two such young minds from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) have forayed into the start-ups ecosystem with the launch of their website LatestLaws.in.

Divyansh Hanu Rathi. fourth year USLLS, and Riya Rathi, first year VIPS, has started the website which provides the user with daily legal updates, legal articles, free downloadable database of all Central and State Bare Acts, Supreme Court Judgements Law Commission of India Reports and much more.

LatestLaw.in has recently achieved the feat of 1 lakh plus Facebook followers. It coincided with launching of their Android Mobile App on Google Play Store which has achieved 10,000+ downloads, claims the company in a statement.

The IOS App will be launching shortly on the Apple App Store.

The website has a section titled as “Did You Know?” which provides for non-legal yet interesting and relevant updates about the happenings all over the world.

The latest case law section of the website reports daily Supreme Court Judgements with head notes with direct back linking with Supreme Court of India Servers.

One of the sections which would benefit the aspiring law students is legal education wherein the website provides a list of all the law colleges situated in India as well as overseas.

The website provides for state wise list of the Bar Councils and Bar Associations as well as International Bar Associations for the purpose of convenience of the legal professionals.
