iLife ZED AIR CX3 Laptop: A Rather Good Laptop Under Rs 20,000

While there are lots on offer for the laptop consumer, but in the under Rs 20,000 range, most of the offers come with compromises. ZED AIR CX3 Laptop comes across a decent laptop for the budget segment with a good processor and display.

ZED AIR CX3 comes in 2 variants - 4GB RAM and 8GB RAM with 5000mAH Battery Capacity. The display is full HD IPS Display that provides decent clarity while watching videos and movies and is one of the highlights of the laptop. It's rather lightweight and thin too, weighing around 1.8 Kg with thickness around 22mm. The speakers produce good sound quality and for users who consume a lot of media, this laptop has audio features that would enhance the entire A/V experience. It comes loaded the necessary connectivity option like high-speed USB 3.0 (2 numbers), HDMI, Type-C, RJ-45, micro-SD, and headphone jack. It has 2 built-in cameras.

Great Display

The display is good, especially at this price point you get a screen size of 15.6 inches with

screen resolution 1920 x 1080 pixel. Watching Netflix is fun on this!

Pricing

Priced at Rs19,999 it’s a great buy for first-time buyers and college and school students. I think iLife is rightly targeting tier 2 and tier 3 cities.

Processor

While this laptop is offering Intel Core i3 most of the other laptops in under Rs 20,000 range have AMD or Celeron or Atom processors.

What’s Not Great

Battery backup

Battery backup is 4 hours. But considering it’s a budget laptop this is one of the compromises the consumer will have to make.

Support

There is a one year warranty but considering iLife is a new company how well they would be able to service is something to be seen.  Though worth mentioning is they have a tie-up with F1 Services, the sister concern of Flipkart, which does the pickup and drop incase of service requirements.

The Last Word

Overall iLife ZED AIR CX3 Laptop is a decent budget laptop. Performance-wise it does perform well. It has a good processor much better than most of its competitors in this price range. The display and screen size is a definite plus and worth mentioning is watching videos on this 15.6 inch with full HD is absolutely great. If you are looking for a budget laptop I would say go for it.  iLife ZED AIR CX3  is well worth it.
