Firstly, Job opportunity should always be considered in totality i.e. role, learning opportunity, growth, company, culture, compensation etc. The incumbent should have clear objective why he/she is planning to switch. It shouldn’t be considered only for the purpose of salary hike. The other aforesaid elements are equally important to decide longevity of the stint. If any candidate accepts the offer (including compensation) of the company, he should stick to his commitment. There is no point continuously evaluating your worth in the market without thinking about other key factors for the job change. On the contrary, if you happen to be not convinced with the compensation offered by the next employer; don’t force yourself to join that organization unless you have other strong factors to join the organization which helps in meeting your own objective & purpose in totality.
